The Government’s Rental Reform White Paper outlines plans to reform the private rented sector and allow responsible pet owners to keep pets in rented homes. Currently, these plans are simply plans, and it is down to us to ensure pressure remains on Government to deliver on its promises.
Below are examples of ways you can help to support our campaign and ensure the Government introduces these proposals in full. Please use the content on our website to make an informed decision into the option that you feel is most appropriate to you, and please do note that you are not limited to only selecting one option to support our cause.
- Send a letter to your local MP to tell them how the changes proposed in the White Paper will impact you (do you support them/not support them?) and/or ask them to table an oral or written question on the White Paper proposals. You can find your local MP here.
- Tweet your support, or tell us your own personal stories and experiences of renting properties with pets, Don’t forget to use the hashtag #RentingWithPets so that we can see all your stories and share these as part of our campaign.
